All our programs are running successfully. Inmates are also doing well & a lot of transformation is taking place through various skill development programs.

I take this opportunity to thank our Donors, supporters and friends for all their help over the past year, particularly in very difficult circumstances, and very much look forward to continuing that cooperation in 2021-22 and beyond.

I also thank all office bearers of district women & child development department, Ahmednagar & Women & child development department, Govt. of Maharashtra, Central social welfare board, Govt. of India. Without their support and guidance, we would not have been able to make positive changes in the lives of our beneficiaries.

Last but not the least; I would like to thank all the members of Priyadarshani family. They have really cooperated and worked hard by putting their hearts and souls to make the things possible.

With warm wishes,
Dr Arun Ithape

Projects

Destitute Girl’s Home (Balgruha)

We have been successfully conducting this program by providing relief to different kinds of destitute girls from the last 17 years. The main object of this project is to ensure safety, protection & rehabilitation of any child who is in need of these kinds of care.

Project is implemented under the MINISTRY OF WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT, Govt. of MAHARASHTRA. We have been running 3 child care units (Balgruha) since June 2004. A total of more than 451 girls in these homes are looked after by our dedicated staff. Age group for this project is 6-18 years. Besides providing basic needs like food, shelter, clothes, medical care, the girls are given education, recreation, counseling and opportunities for developing their hidden talents. They not only prosper in academics but in extra-curricular activities also. They have excelled in sports, arts, songs & dance. Many of them have been recruited in Maharashtra Police also.
